What is HTML?
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
HTML is a simple text file that contains the information to display on a web page. Markup Language is a way to structure the web page.

Mostly a tag ends with the same tag name having a forward slash '/'.
Browser does not display tags, as they are used to format the content written between the tags.
